The Gold Blitz slot by Fortune Factory Studios is played on a 6x4 grid with 4096 ways to win. 

This is set against a glowing neon moving background, whose colours change between the base game and the two great bonus rounds. And that’s right, the game offers a choice between two bonus rounds, and also features a Cash Collect feature. 

As well as the bonus round, there’s plenty of win potential in the base game as well. For a start, the Cash Collect feature is active. And premium symbols award payouts for just two on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost. The lower-paying card ranks need three to form a winning combo. 

The Wild is a glowing ball of electricity. This will land on reels 2 to 6 in the base game to help form line wins. It’s also active in the Free Spins, but with a twist, as we’ll see below. 

The Scatter is a big red gem. This awards payouts for three or more in view and will also give the lucky player a choice of two great bonus rounds. The number of spins in each of these depends on the number of triggering Scatters. 

There are also slabs of gold with cash or jackpot values attached and a Lightening Collect symbol. The Cash symbols can land anywhere on the grid, but the Collect symbol will only appear on reels 1 and 6.  

The Cash Collect feature in Gold Blitz is the main attraction of the game. It’s active in both the base game and the Gold Blitz bonus round, which I’ll tell you about in a minute. What’s great about this particular Cash Collect system is that the Collect symbol can land on two reels. Whenever one appears, it will award the values of all the Cash and Jackpot symbols on the grid to the player. And if more than one lands on a single spin, they’ll each collect all the cash. 

When the bonus triggers with three or more Scatters anywhere on the grid, the lucky fox will have to decide to play the regular Free Spins or the Gold Blitz round.

The Free Spins round consists of between 8 and 30 spins for three to six Scatters. The Cash Collect feature isn't active during these spins. But Wilds will land with random multipliers of x2, x3, and x5, which apply to line wins they help form. If more than one Wild is involved in a win, it'll be multiplied by all the multipliers. Just two Scatters landing will award five more spins, and more will award the same as in the base game. 

The Gold Blitz feature sees only Cash, Jackpot, and Collect symbols or blanks landing. Just like in the base game, more than one of the latter can land per spin. But the big draw of the Gold Blitz round is that players are guaranteed at least one Collect symbol on every spin.

The theme and graphics of Gold Blitz are a bit confusing, but the gameplay is straightforward and potentially very rewarding. Just remember it's a high-volatility game, so always set a loss limit before playing.
